Happy Tails Veterinary Emergency Clinic

One of the worst places ive been to!

I unfortunately had to visit Happy Trails veterinarian clinic on Sunday September 27th. My Siamese cat was having severe issues. I didn't realize how emotional I had become, until I tried to say what was wrong with the cat and then suddenly my voice froze up and I couldn't speak. They were kind compassionate at the front desk as well as the vet technician and the veterinarian. They took amazing care and immediate care of my severely sick kitty cat. The administered the proper test and blood work and procedure to take care of my sick pet. I am forever grateful to take my beloved animal home with me thanks to Happy Tails. I highly recommend them.

This place is a scam. They almost killed my cat Sam. I paid 1,000 worth of scans for them to say there was nothing wrong with him. They made me leave with him extremely lethargic, so I took him to a different vet immediately and showed them the exact scans they took, and they said you can obviously see a blockage. The second option VET said this was negligence and he could have died! THANK YOU, HAPPY TAILS, FOR YOUR NEGLIGENCE!!!

RUN!!!! Go somewhere else! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! DO NOT GO BY THE REVIEW BELOW! THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED!!!! THE REVIEW BELOW WAS 9 YEARS AGO but now a new building and things have changed. I regret giving the place a return visit. There are many emergency vets in Greensboro. Choose another one. ** My daughter brought our dog Max on Sunday, 9/20/26. After paying $600 and having to leave Max for him to be treated when they could get to him, we had to pick Max up at 1:30 AM !! Why? They close at 8:00am but we refused another $600 in blood work so we had to pick him up at 1:30AM and when my husband called to tell them we had a family emergency with my mom in the hospital and needed to pick him up at least at 6:30am instead of the middle of the night we were refused and had to pick him up immediately. Once arriving an additional $85 was charged before he was released. BUT no medicine was even suggested. We had to take him to our regular vet on Monday where he received 2 medications. A complete waste of $685! Plus a middle of the night drive to pick him up after they made us leave him to be checked later. NEVER AGAIN will we give our business to Happy Tails. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! ---------------------------------------------- This review is 9 years ago and not a current review of this staff. Our puppy received his last round of shots on a Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon his face and paws were swollen. We called the vet who had given the shots and there was not even an emergency number to call. We began did a google search and called Happy Trails Emergency Hospital late on Saturday afternoon. The staff from the minute we called was very helpful. They explained the cost and reasons for treatment before anything was done to the puppy so that we could choose what we wanted to have done. Not only was the puppy treated but we also received helpful advice for our puppy including help finding a place to board him over the holidays and tips if we decided to fly with him ( which we did with complete success!). They also recommended a vet near us and we made the switch right away and have been very pleased with their recommendation. When your pet is in an emergency situation you want someone who cares, who takes every detail seriously and also explains the cost involved. We definitely will return here should we have an emergency. It gives us peace of mind to know they are there and open should we need them!

Very helpful and caring for your pets! Willing to work with you financially as well.
