Animal Medical Centre Of Greensboro

The staff is very professional and most courteous. My pet loves going to see the wonderful, gracious and generous staff. I highly recommend them for all of the great services they offer.

They were amazing to Ruckes and me compared to my old vet Dr.miller and her tech listed to all my concerns and ruckes seemed to have like them both we went through pretty much his whole day to day life together and put a treatment plan together to get him feeling better in his senior years it was a great first experience here and we will be bringing the other two dogs in and staying with this vet moving forward I couldn't have asked for a better experience

**UPDATE AFTER THE PRACTICE’S RESPONSE:** The owner’s response states that “some of the circumstances described in this review do not align with our records.” Since they have chosen to publicly question the accuracy of my account rather than acknowledge their irresponsible communication failure, I checked my phone records. My outgoing call history shows that I called this practice **three times on January 15, once on January 20, and four times on January 26** — eight calls in total during the period when my cat was critically ill. The snowstorm occurred January 24. My complaint was never that I expected a veterinary hospital to remain physically open when road conditions were unsafe. My complaint is that I repeatedly attempted to reach my cat’s established veterinary provider, including multiple calls after the storm, and did not receive the communication I was desperately seeking before I ultimately had to euthanize her because you quite literally NEVER CALLED BACK. (Just like with the dewormer when i had to show up in the lobby to get a response!) I left messages every single time. If your "records" aren't kept-- 1) that's not surprising since you can't even keep records at the front desk about calls and 2) maybe keep them better. I am happy to provide screenshots. I also want to correct one point if my original wording created confusion: whether the number I called is technically classified by the practice as an “emergency hotline” is beside the point, and I am not claiming this is a 24-hour emergency hospital. I was attempting to reach my cat’s primary veterinary practice about a critically ill established patient and was trying to obtain veterinary guidance and a second opinion. I called repeatedly. I did not receive it. Don't offer the number if no one watches it. Their response also does not address the separate incident described in my review: medication for severely ill kittens was not filled because Dr. Miller was unexpectedly out, I repeatedly tried to determine when I could obtain it, and I ultimately had to physically go to the office to get answers. When I questioned what continuity-of-care plan existed when the veterinarian was unavailable, I was called “rude.” That is precisely why I wrote this review. These were two separate experiences in which animals in my care were seriously ill, communication broke down, and my persistence in trying to obtain answers became the issue instead of the lack of communication itself. I would have welcomed an acknowledgment that the communication in either situation could have been handled better. Instead, the public response questions my account while offering no accountability for the underlying experiences I described. My phone records exist. I stand by my review, and their response has only reinforced why I would not entrust another animal to this practice. I absolutely do not recommend this practice after two experiences that showed an alarming lack of communication and continuity of care.
